Yes, the Honeywell SiXGB does have low battery detection capabilities. The SiXGB sensor will always report its battery status to the Lyric control panel so the battery level can always be viewed on the ZONES screen or remotely via Alarm monitoring company remote software.
The SiXGB is designed to conserve battery life, SiX™ sensors are normally in an ultra low-power state. Radio off, LED’s off several events can “wakeup” a sensor: Devices will also “wakeup” on a time based interval. Time based wakeups occur every 30 seconds.
