This video shows you how to remove a Honeywell 5834-4 wireless key transmitter from programming on the Honeywell LYNX Touch L5200 wireless security system.
To remove the Honeywell 5834-4 wireless key transmitter from programming from the home screen select security, more, tools, installer code "default is 4112", program, keys, highlight the appropriate zone, delete, yes, return button to the home screen, select yes to allow yourself back into programming. Now if you try to use your Honeywell 5834-4 it will no longer work because we have removed it from programming.
Once the Honeywell 5834-4 has been removed from programming make sure to keep the serial number from the device in the event you decide to re program or program into another Honeywell wireless security system.
The Honeywell LYNX Touch L5200 wireless security system has been discontinued by Honeywell and will no longer produce these alarm panels. The L5200 has been replaced by the Honeywell L5210 wireless security system the link to the new system has been placed above.
