The resident response setting is used to monitor resident’s in an area deemed to be dangerous by a caregiver. This setting requires an acknowledgement by the caregiver in order to restore sensor trouble. The system will beep twice and announce activity detected and zone description. This will go on every 15 seconds until the caregiver acknowledges the trouble at the panel or by disarming from their key fob. This sensor will not report back to the central alarm monitoring station and events are not logged in the system’s event history. The fault will be cleared regardless of the state of the contact as long as there has been an acknowledgement from the caregiver.
The Honeywell 5816 Door/Window contact is a two zone wireless transmitter with both built-in magnetic reed switches and wired closed circuit contact loop. It Features a standard white plastic case “a brown case is available in packs of three and included is a supervised replaceable battery.
