This video will show you how to add a babysitter code to the Honeywell LYNX Touch L5210 wireless security system.
To add the babysitter code to the Honeywell L5210 system from the home screen select security, more, tools, enter your master code "default is 1234", select users, highlight guest, edit, select user code box, enter your 4 digit code of choice, done, save and back out to the home screen.
The babysitter code is assigned to those such as babysitters, house sitters and opare's "in the alarm system it will be labeled as guest". The reason why this code is assigned to these specific group's of people is because in most cases people have to wait for a babysitter to arrive before they can leave themselves. With that being said once the babysitter has entered your home if they want to leave the location they must use their designated babysitter code to arm the system because if the system was armed with any other code including the quick arm feature their code will not disarm the system when they return. So in other words the babysitter code can only disarm the Honeywell L5210 security system if the babysitter code was used to arm the system. Keep in mind that if the quick arm feature is used the babysitter code will not be able to deactivate the alarm system either.
