This video will show you how to wire the power transformer into the Honeywell LYNX Plus L3000 wireless security system. To do this open the Honeywell L3000 by depressing the two tabs on the top of the panel, take your 22 gauge by 2 wire, wire up the transformer as show in the video, with the transformer unplugged wire in the opposite end of the wire to the Honeywell L3000 wireless security system, plug in the transformer and the alarm backup battery and you can seal the system backup.
The Honeywell LYNX Plus L3000 wireless security system is a combination control panel, keypad and siren. The Honeywell L3000 can support up to 40 wireless zones and one hardwired zone. Most families prefer to have their own individual disarm codes which is perfect because the Honeywell L3000 will allow for up to 8 different user codes. The Honeywell L3000 offers you the availability to go back and view 84 previous system events. On the alpha numeric keypad there is a full real time clock that can be adjusted if need be. Inside the Honeywell L3000 wireless security system you will find an alarm backup battery that can provide power in the event the power goes down for up to 6 hours. The Honeywell LYNX Plus L3000 wireless security system reports to the central station with full Contact ID via GSM or Telco communications.
One of the most convenient features of the Honeywell L3000 wireless security system is its capabilities of activating Honeywell AlarmNet Total Connect 2.0 "TC 2.0" applications when the GSMVLP-4G is used. Once TC 2.0 has been synced with your Honeywell L3000 system you can begin arming/disarming, receiving notifications and manipulating user profiles remotely from anywhere in the world.
