Honeywell 5834-4: How to Turn Off the Loud Siren L5210?

The loud siren we are speaking about is the siren that occurs when you use your Honeywell 5834-4 whether it is arming away, arming stay or disarming the Honeywell L5210. This loud siren that comes from the Honeywell L5210 speaker can be loud and obtrusive for some people and it can be turned off.
To turn off this loud siren associated with the Honeywell 5834-4 from programming go to security, more, tools, installer code "default is 4112", program, scroll down, sounder, arm confirm change to none, save, back, yes, go back to the home screen and test your Honeywell 5834-4 to make sure the sounder has been removed. If the loud beep is still there that probably means you forgot to hit save so repeat these steps.
